TelevisaUnivision has announced the resignation of Donna Speciale, who served as president of U.S. advertising sales and marketing for four years. Tim Natividad, an experienced leader from TikTok, Roku, Amazon, and Google, will take over the role starting June 9. Speciale will assist during the transition to ensure continuity. This change comes shortly after the company's 2025 TV upfront event, where they unveiled significant initiatives focused on music and content, emphasizing the transition towards a more robust digital future.
Leadership transitions are often stressful, and I can understand that. That said, we're fortunate to have an exceptional team in place under Donna, and they will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition alongside Tim as he steps in to build upon the legacy that Donna has shaped.
Together, we agreed that this would be the right time for the next step in the evolution of our ad sales leadership. Given the importance of our digital future, I am excited to welcome Tim.
