Project Rally is a community-driven pickleball initiative aimed at enhancing the physical and social well-being of cancer survivors. A pilot study by Moffitt Cancer Center demonstrated the program's effectiveness, with high participation and retention rates among cancer survivors and their supporters. With physical activity being crucial for survivor health, this program addresses the gap where many do not meet exercise recommendations. Participants exhibited increased physical activity levels, reinforcing the idea that engaging activities can empower cancer survivors to improve their quality of life post-treatment.
"Project Rally has shown remarkable success in enhancing the well-being of cancer survivors through community engagement, making exercise both enjoyable and beneficial."
