Gardai to search house and garden in Louth as part of investigation into disappearance of Kyran Durnin (8)

Gardaí have confirmed the launch of a murder investigation following Kyran's disappearance, which has escalated concerns as he is now presumed dead.

Acting under a District Court Order, Gardaí took possession of a private house in Dundalk for purposes of extensive searches and forensic examinations.

A garda spokesperson stated that the aim of the searches include discovering any evidence regarding Kyran's current whereabouts or the circumstances of his disappearance.

Gardaí are urging anyone with information about Kyran’s disappearance to reach out to local Garda stations or their confidential line.
