On November 5, around 2:50 a.m., a suspect kicked in the glass door of the Neuhaus Chocolate Store at Grand Central Terminal, causing significant property damage.
Authorities report that the vandalism resulted in approximately $29,000 worth of damage, though the extent of stolen items remains unknown as the investigation continues.
After the vandalism, the suspect fled the scene heading east on 42nd Street, eventually boarding a downtown 6 train, eluding capture.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority police have released surveillance images of the suspect, who wore a black shirt and hat during the incident.
