According to the NYPD, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Monday, May 5, inside 2065 Morris Ave., within the 46th Precinct.

EMS transported a 20-year-old man to Saint Barnabas Hospital after he was struck in the hip by one bullet during the exchange of gunfire.
Police have yet to disclose what led to the altercation or how many shots were fired during the incident, though reports allege that the groups had been engaged in a drug deal.
