A man was shot by NYPD officers after he violently attacked his four nieces with a meat cleaver in a Brooklyn home. The attack began when an 11-year-old girl, one of the victims, bravely called 911 to report the ongoing assault. Responding officers encountered the assailant brandishing the bloody weapon and attempting to harm them. Despite commands to drop the cleaver, the man lunged at the officers, who then opened fire, ultimately preventing further harm. Thankfully, all four girls are expected to survive their injuries.
