A devastating car accident in New York has claimed the lives of Natasha Saada, 34, and her two young daughters, Debra and Diana, ages five and eight. The family was walking home from a synagogue when an overturned vehicle crashed into them. Natasha's four-year-old son, Philip, survived but is critically injured. The tragedy has deeply affected the Mill Hill community, where Natasha was well-loved. The driver of the vehicle was operating with a suspended license, leading to the tragic incident, which also left several other people injured.
NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch stated, 'A mother and two young children killed, another child fighting for his life, a family and a neighbourhood devastated in an instant.'
Rabbi Yitzchak Schochet expressed the community's sorrow, stating Natasha was 'fondly remembered by many' and that 'the whole Mill Hill community is grief-stricken.'
