The season for Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs is over as he requires knee surgery, marking another setback in a season plagued by injuries for the team.
Diggs, who has been troubled by calf, groin, and knee injuries, recorded 44 tackles, two interceptions, and 11 pass deflections during the 11 games he played this season.
He is the fifth former Pro Bowler placed on injured reserve by the Cowboys this year, joining Dak Prescott, Zack Martin, DeMarcus Lawrence, and DaRon Bland.
Diggs' $9 million salary for 2025 will fully guarantee on the fifth day of the league year, contributing to the team's cap management concerns.
