An NYPD school safety agent was stabbed in the leg while breaking up a fight at I.S. 285 Meyer Levin in East Flatbush. The incident occurred just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday at 5909 Beverley Road. A person of interest is in custody. The 53-year-old woman was stabbed in the calf while trying to separate two students who were fighting. EMS transported the woman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where she are expected to recover. The middle school does not require students to pass through metal detectors.
