Nets shuffle roster out of All-Star break; Injury updates
Briefly

The Brooklyn Nets have decided to waive veteran forward Bojan Bogdanović, who has been dealing with recovery from offseason foot surgery, leading to a season-ending surgery. In his place, the team is signing Tyrese Martin to a standard deal and extending a 10-day contract to Killian Hayes. Coach Jordi Fernandez praised both players for their efforts, highlighting Martin's work ethic and commitment to the team's culture as crucial for his promotion after he previously struggled with two-way eligibility.
He's done a great job showing up here every day, trying to get healthy. Unfortunately, he couldn't get to that point, and he made the decision to get surgery, and we obviously fully support him.
Nobody deserves it more than him. He's worked the whole summer. He's about what we're trying to build here. He helps us build the culture. He's had big games, but the most important thing is he's about the right things.
