The Fremont police were alerted to a disturbing scene at the Centerville Train Station where the remains of two animals were found, one of which was decapitated and eviscerated. Amtrak police discovered the remains around 2:30 p.m. on a park bench, alongside several bags containing additional animal parts. The species of the animals has yet to be determined; however, a forensic veterinarian has been consulted to aid in identifying them and ascertain the cause of death. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
