A City AM survey of major UK firms indicates that hybrid working is still prevalent in 2025, with many employees reporting that they are expected to work in the office for an average of three days a week. Specific companies like Aviva, Experian, and GSK have implemented two to three days to maximize both flexibility and collaboration. Despite ongoing discussions about remote work, a significant number of FTSE 100 businesses are not reverting to strict office hours, favoring a hybrid approach instead.
At Rightmove, chief executive Johan Svanstrom said the property website's hybrid working model of at least two office-based days "is working effectively for our teams".
Of 34 FTSE 100 constituents that provided detailed responses, over a third typically see staff (in office roles) coming into their UK offices three days per week.
