Right to work from home will boost productivity, Labour says
Briefly

Jonathan Reynolds criticized the previous government's stance on working from home, stating, "Jacob Rees-Mogg made this big thing as (then) business secretary (in) declaring war on people working from home." He deemed this approach bizarre, especially considering the UK's economic conditions.
He emphasized that working from home contributes positively to productivity and staff resilience, saying, "It does contribute to productivity, it does contribute to [staff] resilience, their ability to stay working for an employer."
Reynolds argued that flexible working could help address regional inequalities in the UK, noting, "The UK has very significant regional inequality. It could play a significant contribution to tackling that."
He highlighted the economic advantages of flexible working for businesses, stating, "A lot of businesses will say their motivation for being a workplace that offers this is because it opens up a much wider group of talent that they can recruit ... there are real economic benefits to be had from the UK adopting this approach."
