Bronx detectives are investigating a shooting incident that led to the fatality of 38-year-old Alexis Sanchez. The shooting took place late Friday night near his home on West 165th Street in Highbridge, around 11:57 p.m. Sanchez sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was quickly transported to Lincoln Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not yet made any arrests and are appealing for public assistance in the investigation. Tips can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
