Nintendo's Switch 2 upgrade packs for Zelda will cost $9.99
Briefly

Nintendo is addressing concerns over high game prices for the Switch 2 by offering $10 upgrades for existing owners of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. The new retail prices for these games on the Switch 2 will be $69.99 and $79.99, respectively. Bill Trinen, Nintendo of America's VP, clarified that upgrades are $9.99 for existing users, and those with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will receive them for free. Additionally, concerns around tariffs affecting the console pricing in the U.S. remain unresolved.
"What you're looking at is for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, that's the physical price for somebody that has not bought the base game," he said.
"For somebody who has bought Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of the Wild, the upgrade packs for those are $9.99. And if you happen to be a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack member, both of the Zelda upgrade packs are inclusive within that membership."
