Switch 2 Will Get GameCube Games Through Nintendo Switch Online, New GameCube Controller

Nintendo has revealed that, for the first time, GameCube games will be available on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, specifically for the upcoming Switch 2. At launch, players can access favorites like Wind Waker, Soulcalibur 2, and F-Zero GX, which will support online multiplayer for up to four players. Additional titles are expected to join the library later. A new GameCube-style controller will also launch alongside the Switch 2, featuring upgraded functionalities including wireless connectivity and a new C button for live chat. The Switch 2 is set for a June 5 launch at $450.
