The Patriots are likely to trade for AJ Brown, with analysts predicting a deal could happen during the 2026 NFL Draft.
The No. 13 pick in 2022, Davis was entering his fifth-year option season worth nearly $13 million. Davis has started 56 regular season games for Philadelphia over the last four seasons and was a key member of the vaunted defensive line that helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl in 2024.
Johnson, 35, missed the final seven regular-season games as well as the Eagles' playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round with a Lisfranc injury. There was uncertainty as to whether he would suit up again in an Eagles uniform, though one prevailing thought inside the building was that he wouldn't want to end his Hall of Fame-worthy career on that note.
The Philadelphia Eagles are hiring Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion as their offensive coordinator, the team announced Thursday. He replaces Kevin Patullo in the role. Mannion, 33, was an active player as recently as 2023 with the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks. He will become the fifth different playcaller for quarterback Jalen Hurts, who will be entering his seventh NFL season in 2026.
There is another drop in that bucket. The Cowboys have another alternate headed to San Francisco. CeeDee Lamb has been added to the Pro Bowl and as the mothership's Nick Eatman notes it is his fifth straight season reaching the NFL's All-Star game. The subject of the Pro Bowl and the legitimacy of being named an alternate has been under fire as of late, but obviously CeeDee Lamb is an incredible player.
Sadiq is very much a modern move tight end who can win as a passing target and do real work as a blocker. In 2025 his production was excellent - 51 catches, 560 yards, and eight touchdowns - while still playing with the physical edge offensive coordinators love. He's not the classic inline monster, so the biggest questions are role and projection.
Tate is a big, quarterback-friendly target who wins with polish and ball skills more than gimmicks. He tracks the ball cleanly, extends his arms to pluck it away from his frame, and plays above the rim on contested throws, plus he's a savvy route runner who uses tempo and body position to create space.
