Odd Dreams Digital has achieved a great debut with its title, "Everything is Crab." The animal evolution roguelite action game sold over 200,000 copies in its first three days, with half of those sales coming in just 24 hours.
Town to City is a meditative, low-risk city builder that allows you to customize a 19th century Mediterranean landscape and grow its population, slowly unlocking new houses, businesses, social hubs, animals, jobs, crops and architectural pieces along the way. Even in the campaign, Town to City is incredibly forgiving and there's really no fail state. You're able to carve out streets and place buildings wherever you'd like, with no grid, and there are also challenges that can unlock more features and larger city sizes.
It's really neat that Motion Twin and Evil Empire - the studios behind Dead Cells and its expansions, respectively - are getting to make a proper Castlevania game. I love my Steam Deck. I really truly do. It's a fantastic machine. And yet when I brought it with me on a five-week trip over the holidays, I used it for barely an hour the entire time. That doesn't really justify the space and weight it takes up in my bag. The same holds true for my Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation Portal.
