Red line services will be partially suspended between the Red Cow and Tallaght/Saggart on Saturday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday due to engineering works. Trams will operate between The Point/Connolly and the Red Cow, with replacement bus services running every 15 minutes in affected areas.
The building, an office block with shops on the ground floor, is at the eastern end of Oxford Street, just north of Soho Square, and sits above the possible route of the Crossrail 2 railway, if/when it is eventually built.
The planned order is expected to include 12-meter and 18-meter vehicles, and potentially also 24-meter bi-articulated trolleybuses. All units will be equipped with traction batteries enabling off-wire operation. The new trolleybuses are expected to cover at least 20 kilometers without overhead wires, while remaining fully compatible with Riga's extensive existing trolleybus infrastructure.

Even developing nations are passing us by. There is growing recognition at the federal level that things need to change, but substantial and comprehensive reform would require an act of Congress.
The first of the 121 Urbos models that CAF will deliver to ATAC has reached the Italian capital and will transform the city's rail-based public transport. The total investment amounts to more than €450 million. Numbered in the 9300 series and measuring 33.5 meters in length, the new vehicle will be able to carry up to 215 passengers, including 68 seated and two passengers with reduced mobility.
It's tempting to frame autonomous driving as a single leap. In public transport, adoption tends to be incremental - because the system is built for reliability, and new capabilities have to fit into daily operations without disrupting service. That is why a practical strategy is evolution, not revolution: introduce autonomy in a defined domain, learn safely in real operations, and expand capability step-by-step.
The UK government has not said when the money will be made available or over what period. It had already announced 445m for rail projects in Wales at last June's spending review, and has now explained that money will go towards building each of the seven stations. Initial work on five of the south east stations will begin later this year, with construction on two of them beginning in 2029. While no timescales have been announced, it is expected that Magor and Undy will be the first station to be completed.
The golden era of night trains had, it was previously assumed, gone for good amid the rise of low-cost, short-haul flights. But the new environmental imperatives suggested that they could be a glamorous part of a greener future, delivering a climate impact that was 28 times less than flying. The new trains are the first of a fleet of 94 new trains being built in Yorkshire at the moment, and will eventually replace the Piccadilly line's existing 50-year old rolling stock. The design, which has a cycle lane between the stop and the kerb, is intended to allow bus passengers to get on and off safely while cyclists continue moving. The next phase of the council's wide-ranging transport plan for the city centre is due to come into effect over the course of the year. A major focus will be on cycling infrastructure, with Dublin City Council (DCC) planning to begin construction on 13 new active travel projects by the end of the year. These include the final section of the Dodder Greenway from Milltown Road to Dundrum Road, on which works will begin in the summer,
The N118 route will launch on Saturday January 17. It'll follow the same journey as the existing N18 bus, starting at Trafalgar Square and serving all the same stops up to Sudbury and Harrow Road station. From there, it'll turn off towards Ruislip station in Hillingdon, travelling via Whitton Avenue West, Sheridan Terrace, Pett's Hill, Alexandra Avenue, Eastcote Lane, Victoria Road and Pembroke Road.
