Google has added 53 new languages to AI Mode, which means the AI Mode works in just under 100 languages. This was announced by Nick Fox from Google on X yesterday. Nick Fox said, "Shipping AI Mode to 53 new languages (spoken by more than a billion people globally!)"
Companies enter new markets with momentum. Press coverage looks promising. Campaigns launch on schedule. Local teams are hired. Early dashboards suggest traction. Then progress slows. Customer interest plateaus. Partnerships take longer than expected. Internally, the conversation almost always turns to execution. Messaging must not be clear enough. The market probably needs more education. What I have learned is that this conclusion is usually wrong. What looks like market resistance is more often a signal that the brand is communicating from the wrong position.

Heineken pulls the curtain on its secretive social media war room for the Champions League to reveal how it is actually a test for how it can distil global creative locally to 120 different markets. While football fans were lamenting the dire quality of English football last night (25 February) following Arsenal's shock defeat to French underdogs Monaco, Heineken marketers were busy trying to avoid a similar slip up in the digital arena.
Identifying the best global expansion strategies isn't the only step AI companies should take to accelerate business growth and reach new audiences. It may be easier than ever to reach buyers on the other side of the world, but doing so brings its own set of challenges and hiccups. For starters, AI regulations differ by region, meaning that you have to know and abide by the rules in different regions.
Hello, I am adapting an existing english module into French. When I enter slide 12 "Régulateur de vitesse adaptatif", the audio is paused and does not autoplay. However, the Pause action is supposed to be triggered only after the three buttons have been visited. Please find a few screenshots and HTML attached. The same script is used on other slides and works correctly.
Dubbed "The Thank You Update", this is no mere costume/weapon set, though there's over a dozen each of those to go find too. This is an all-encompassing update that brings everything from quality-of-life updates--a Picto/Lumina filter, a long-overdue photo mode, and an option to escape from battles, to a completely new area called "Verso's Drafts," with a bunch of new story content, mostly about Verso's childhood, and the final music tracks written by Lorien Testard for the game.
In the race to deploy large language models and generative AI across global markets, many companies assume that "English model → translate it" is sufficient. But if you're an American executive preparing for expansion into Asia, Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, that assumption could be your biggest blind spot. In those regions, language isn't just a packaging detail: it's culture, norms, values, and business logic all wrapped into one. If your AI doesn't code-switch, it won't just underperform; it may misinterpret, misalign,
U.S. merchants eyeing European expansion see 450 million consumers unified under common trade regulations. The reality is different. The European Union harmonizes cross-border commerce rules, but it doesn't harmonize the people doing the buying. This misunderstanding costs conversions in every country. Without payment after delivery, German shoppers bounce. Absent the French language, buyers in France lose trust. Parcel delivery lockers are critical for Polish consumers.

DeepL calls its brand new Agent an AI-driven colleague. This assistant automates repetitive tasks, while the Customization Hub introduced today facilitates translation processes. In addition, DeepL has expanded its support with 70 new languages. DeepL Agent is available after extensive beta testing with more than 1,000 users. The tool performed 20,000 tasks during the test phase. The system automates tasks such as CRM management, customer service, and marketing activities, going far beyond the translation tasks you might associate with DeepL.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A has no business being as funny as it is. Whether I'm enjoying the absurdity of its main cast's antics or passing by an NPC who says something so out of pocket I have to do a double take at their speech bubble, I'm getting plenty of chuckles out of my time in Lumiose City. The citizens of the Paris-inspired setting seem to be going through it , and it means that you'll find a lot of odd one-liners
It sounds easy: translate text, swap media, export new SCORM and upload to the LMS. But for learning developers, this strategy can insidiously double workload, balloon expenses, and add complexity to maintenance when developing multilingual eLearning courses. Let us find out how this affects the eLearning development process and how Instructional Designers and developers can build more scalable multilingual solutions.

Nintendo's star heroine wasn't always named Princess Peach, and for many years prior to the release of Super Mario 64 went by a different name: Princess Toadstool. Now, fans know the reason why, and it wasn't because of any decision Nintendo made. In an interview with Time Extension, Nintendo veteran Leslie Swan, who over the course of her nearly three-decade career helped localize countless Nintendo classics, wrote for Nintendo Power magazine, and even voiced Princess Peach in Super Mario 64, spilled the beans on the unlikely origin of the Toadstool moniker. She said in Nintendo's early days, there wasn't a lot of communication between the development teams in Japan and those working on marketing in the US.
Internationalization involves more than just text translation; it encompasses formatting dates, pluralization, and sorting according to cultural expectations. The Intl API allows modern JavaScript to handle these tasks natively.
The results suggest that the coarse text-cell retrieval serves as a foundational step in the overall localization process. The subsequent fine position estimation generally improves the localization performance.
