Wooooooooo, your tablehopper is set to hella turbo right now. Ask any New Yorker: Happy hour isn't what it used to be. The rise of remote work, paired with thinner margins for restaurants has left the most jubilant time of day, well, a bit lacking in recent years. Luckily, some restaurants and bars are still trying to entice the after work card with tempting specials on food and beverage that bring back the age old tradition of happy hour in New York City. Here's where to seek out some of the most unique happy hours across Manhattan and Brooklyn:

Sandwich maker Potbelly is being acquired by the gas station and convenience store chain RaceTrac for $566 million. Potbelly, which was founded in Chicago in 1977, has 445 restaurants across the U.S. company said the deal with RaceTrac will help it reach its goal of quadrupling in size to 2,000 locations. Potbelly stores are both company- and franchise-owned.

While this year's Taste of Los Gatos will feature Rush cover band R50 and Livewire headlining the main stage, with Chain of Fools, Identity Problem, Phill & Rob and Sam Marshall scattered throughout the one-day street party, make no mistake, the essence of the fest will be the nibbles and libations. Fulton Market, once a meat-packing district, is now home to some of the finest dining options in Chicago, featuring everything from fine dining to steakhouses.
