The Singapore-style chicken curry laksa features a homemade curry paste that includes aromatic ingredients like lemongrass and galangal, transformed into a rich and creamy chicken soup.

After the vegetables have softened, however, is where the soup takes a turn. They are removed from the broth and then pureed in a blender before being poured back into the pot.
