Noah Caluori, the 19-year-old Saracens wing, has been named in England's autumn internationals squad by Steve Borthwick. Caluori burst on to the Prem scene by scoring five tries against Sale on 18 October and, as England gear up for a busy November featuring four Tests, Borthwick has called up the uncapped youngster after initially inviting him to a training camp last week.
We're not going to think too much of the European Championship quarter-finals. It is, however, hard to believe that Wuck and his team will not be looking to that Euro 2025 last-eight game for both motivation and inspiration. That match in Basel was memorable a 10-player Germany coming from behind to beat their old rivals on penalties in a game they arguably should never have won but which showed them much about their character.
Goalkeepers (3) Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson, Nick Pope Pickford is as nailed down a number one as it is possible to be and is set for his third World Cup between the posts barring any calamity. Henderson is regularly excellent in goal for Palace who continue to impress, and James Trafford's relegation to the Manchester City bench opens up a spot. The towering centre-back is one of four changes from Andreatta's first squad as boss earlier this year.
Heimir Hallgrimsson says he opted to stay loyal to the Ireland players who flopped so badly in the last game of the World Cup qualifiers in Armenia to give them a chance to redeem themselves in the double header away to Portugal and at home to Armenia.
Seamus Coleman has been left out the Republic of Ireland squad for World Cup qualifiers against Hungary and Armenia next month. The 36-year-old defender missed the June friendlies with Senegal and Luxembourg through injury but has been an unused substitute in both of Everton's Premier League games this season. Despite his return to fitness, coach Heimir Hallgrimsson has opted against an international recall for his squad captain.
