Broadway-Lafayette St station on the B/D/F/M lines at around 5:21 a.m. on Jan. 28. Authorities said the victim, a 51-year-old man, became embroiled in a verbal dispute with the suspect, described as a man between 20 and 30 yearss of age, while on board a southbound train. The clash turned physical and, after the train arrived at Broadway-Lafayette St, spilled out onto the platform where, sources familiar with the case said, the perpetrator pulled out a knife and stabbed the 51-year-old in the back.
Brooklyn, NY - A 31-year-old man was slashed on a southbound "A" train Friday afternoon after a dispute with another rider turned violent, police said. The attack happened around 4:23 p.m. as the train approached the Hoyt/Schermerhorn Station. According to investigators, the unidentified assailant pulled a knife and slashed the victim on the arm and head before fleeing the station. EMS transported the victim to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
