You can't buy a Switch 2 on Amazon, and third-party sellers may be to blame
Briefly

The Nintendo Switch 2 is becoming more accessible since its launch, but remains unavailable on Amazon due to tensions over third-party game sales. Bloomberg reports that Amazon's pricing strategies, which undercut Nintendo's prices, led to this dispute. Although Nintendo attempted to address the situation by ensuring product authenticity, the company ultimately decided to withdraw its products. While some games like Donkey Kong Bananza have returned to pre-order on Amazon, hardware remains absent. Both Nintendo and Amazon have dismissed claims of any issue between them regarding this situation.
"Third-party merchants were offering games for sale in the US at prices that undercut Nintendo's advertised rates," Bloomberg writes.
Nintendo's frustration with third-party game sales on the platform could be the reason why.
Amazon reportedly tried to smooth things over by offering to label games and consoles as authentic (implying third-party listings were suspect), but the video game company declined and pulled its products.
Both companies deny there's anything unusual going on... Nintendo shared in a statement to Bloomberg.
