State Police pulled over Rebecca Shing after a passerby reported the van drifting in and out of lanes. Upon contact, Shing appeared visibly impaired.
According to police, Shing exhibited signs of intoxication including bloodshot eyes and an inability to stand. She reportedly claimed to have taken Suboxone earlier.
Field sobriety tests indicated that Shing was unfit to drive, leading to a breath test that revealed a BAC of 0.15, significantly over the legal limit.
Shing is facing multiple charges including negligent operation of a vehicle and endangering children under the influence. She pleaded not guilty and remains in custody.
