Charging from 10 to 98 percent took just six minutes and 27 seconds. The more standard 10-80 percent time takes just three minutes, 44 seconds. Only have a minute to plug in? Still sufficient to get from 10 to 35 percent state of charge.
The delivery follows an initial batch of 10 buses introduced in August 2025, bringing the total number of vehicles supplied under the programme to 100. The buses have been integrated into the NTC fleet, which has historically operated an ageing vehicle base.
The MGU-K will be able to deploy its full 350 kW (469 hp) in key acceleration zones, complementing the V6's 400 kW (536 hp). Outside of those zones, the MGU-K is limited to just 250 kW (335 hp), resulting in smaller speed differentials.
Porter complained about difficulties when trying to insert lines in Excel. (Which, to be fair to Microsoft, is relatively straightforward - need to insert a row? Right-click on a selected row. Need to insert a line in text? Alt+Return is probably going to be your friend.) But then Porter turned to that other productivity stalwart, Word. "Never underestimate Microsoft's ability to make things more complicated," he said.
"We have seen a significant change in the dynamic. So definitely, when the American consumer sees an increase in fuel prices they try to move to solutions which are more friendly in terms of cost, especially in states like California."
