An 81-year-old person died after being rescued from rubble by emergency teams following a magnitude 6.1 earthquake in northwestern Turkiye's Balikesir province.

Casualties have been reported in an active shooter situation at Fort Stewart, a Georgia army base, with law enforcement currently responding to the scene.

“The Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI aircraft crashed into the campus of Milestone School and College, in Dhaka's Uttara neighbourhood, on Monday afternoon, where students were taking tests or attending regular classes.”
