He admitted a further rape charge before his trial. Jurors at Warwick Crown Court also convicted him of child abduction and taking an indecent video of the girl during her ordeal near a residential cul-de-sac.
The bus driver, a Wilmington man, is being summonsed to Woburn District Court, and police are seeking two charges against him: assault and battery and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. "The defendant is not being identified at this time since he faces a criminal summons instead of arrest," the department explained in a release. "He will be identified at a later time if a criminal arraignment is scheduled." Back on Monday, Dec. 8, police were notified of "potentially inappropriate social media activity" by the driver and began investigating.
A man has pleaded guilty to the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Warwickshire, in a case that prompted anti-asylum protests in Nuneaton. Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, of no fixed abode, changed his plea at Warwick crown court on Friday, admitting to the single charge of rape of a child under 13 on 22 July. Mulakhil, an Afghan national, had previously denied abducting a child, three counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 at a hearing on 28 August.
The suspect accused of a heinous and violent rape of a 12-year-old girl in Brooklyn was apprehended on Friday. Detectives from the Brooklyn North Special Victims Unit (SVU) booked Eric McMichael, 27, of Clay Street in Greenpoint on two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. A stranger told a 12-year-old girl "I'm going to violate you," and raped her in a heinous attack in the stairwell of a Brooklyn public housing building Thursday, cops and sources said. MARTINEZ - A Concord man in his late 30s has been sentenced to 13 years in state prison for raping a 13-year-old girl, a crime he allegedly tried to cover up by threatening to kill the victim or have her deported. Macario Cucul-Maaz, 39, pleaded no contest to a child rape charge and was sentenced in late June, court records show. He is currently housed at North Kern State Prison.
