The Trump administration has teed up the entire Gulf region for a Deepwater Horizon sequel with its approval of BP's extremely risky ultra-deepwater drilling project, said Brettny Hardy, senior attorney at Earthjustice, one of the groups.

"Today, the Trump Administration is removing the unnecessary and unlawful burdens that prior Administrations imposed on schools in its relentless pursuit of a radical transgender agenda," Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Kimberly Richey said in the news release.
The lawsuit specifically argues that the EPA's decision to rescind a 2009 study that determined greenhouse gases are dangerous to public health was illegal. The study, which is the source of what's called the "Endangerment Finding," was one of several justifications - along with things like the Clean Air Act - for the agency's ability to regulate emissions.
