The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is not a phone that tries to disappear in your hand or your pocket. The gigantic circular Leica camera island still dominates the rear panel, just like on the previous model, but there is a subtle shift in design language. With a flatter back panel and flat side frame, the 17 Ultra leans into a cleaner, more minimal look than the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

And while today's innovation is cutting-edge, the majority of today's humanoids are militant, aggressively masculine, and plain creepy-looking. Just look at what Tesla announced this week with its shift in strategy from producing EVs, to producing robots. Their Optimus general-purpose humanoid robot is a prime example of the physical design most of these robots share. They may be technically impressive, but they are not systems most people will feel comfortable sharing space with, let alone inviting into their homes.

The catch, however, is that Luckey and Ohanian weren't really criticizing technology itself (Luckey said, during his remarks, that he supported AI and felt it was changing workflows for the better); instead, they were criticizing the aesthetics of technology. Vintage consumer tech products, they argued, are superior to today's - and it's the styles and form factor of the past that will determine tech's future, they claimed.

The Vivo V series has built a reputation for offering a stylish design and capable cameras within the mid-range segment. Just six months after the release of the Vivo V50, the company has introduced its latest model, the Vivo V60. Although the upgrade cycle is short, Vivo has used this time to refresh the design and improve the camera system.

Over the last month, I've been using and testing the Satechi 67W Slim Wall Charger, which bears an unusual distinction among almost all travel chargers on the market, in that it doesn't look absolutely diabolical. This Actually Pretty Nice-Looking™ wall charger is a charger intended for on-the-go users who need to charge up more than one (but fewer than three) devices at any given time.
