Google's Daniel Waisberg announced today at the Google Search Central event in Tel Aviv that Search Console will be gaining brand query filters. Plus, these filters will be AI-assisted, I am told. I spotted this news via Daragh Nener-Lally who posted these slides on X he wrote, "Coming soon in Search Console... AI-assisted brand query exclusion." I am not seeing this yet in my Search Console performance reports but maybe it will be here any minute?

Google's John Mueller said that there was no change to how fast and frequently the Google Search Console API sends data.

John Mueller from Google somewhat/kinda made a comment, finally, on the impression decreasing with the average position increasing within the Search Console reports. This came after Google dropped the 100 results per page function, resulting in the third-party tools totally becoming a mess. As a reminder, many, not all, but many, are seeing a noticeable decline in desktop impressions, resulting in a sharp increase in average position.

Google has implemented the June 2025 core update, making significant changes that may affect search rankings and performance for various sites.
