I'd love to play that character. Red Dead is a fantastic game. It's interesting because I didn't really have too much of an opportunity to get that heavily invested in the gaming culture... when I did get the rare opportunity, Red Dead was certainly one of the games that spoke to me.

The player ambles through an eerily underpopulated subway station, which gradually comes to resemble a metro-themed infinity loop—a maddeningly repetitive circle of mid-transit hell.

Kirsten Dunst gave an interview to Town and Country Magazine declaring that while she was still committed to doing smaller movies, she'd love to do a movie like Minecraft 2, 'because her kids loved the first one and because she'd like to make a pile of cash. Maybe I can just make a movie where I don't lose money?'

The PlayStation-backed Helldivers movie will release on November 10, 2027 with Justin Lin of the Fast and Furious franchise directing. Momoa and Lin previously collaborated on Fast X which was critically-panned but did fine at the box office. That over-the-top franchise certainly has parallels to Arrowhead Game Studios' sci-fi parody of inter-galactic war that's loosely inspired by Starship Troopers, but deftly nailing the same tone as the hit PS5 and PC extraction shooter won't be easy.

But while most of these characters look like Easter eggs, Yoshi appears to be a major part of the plot. We see Toad's reaction to a dinosaur randomly joining the team, and the teaser ends with Yoshi (now babysitting Baby Mario and Baby Luigi) facing off against an actual dinosaur, presumably a nod to Super Mario Odyssey. We don't know how that will end up, but the two clearly aren't part of the same species.

TV's best ever video game adaptation screamed back to life with the year's most traumatic killing off of a beloved character. Losing one half of the show's central duo was no easy thing to move past, but The Last of Us morphed into a touching meditation on grief, loss and the pain of love left unspoken with added mushroom monsters. Based on the comics, The Boys is a TV series for Prime Video that spawned a spin-off series, Gen V, and a spin-off called The Boys: Mexico is also in the works. There is also the upcoming prequel series, Vought Rising, which takes place in the 1950s. The series seems ripe for a video game, as the world is full of powerful characters with unique abilities, and the off-beat and comedic tone might be appealing to many.

Mortal Kombat 2 will hit theaters on October 24, and it has an ensemble cast of new and returning actors, including Ludi Lin, Jessica Mcnamee, and Mehcad Brooks.

Romero's vision for Resident Evil ultimately fell apart due to a massive disagreement with producer Bernd Eichinger over the level of gore and violence in the script.
