I'd been in full production mode every single day from the very start of each project to the very end, for 20 years. I stayed so long because I loved the games. It was a real privilege to be there, but it was probably the right time to leave. I turned 45 just after Red Dead 2 came out. I thought, well, it's probably a good time to try working on some other stuff.
Below, we examine how it carried the torch of the classic films to create the best new piece of Indy fiction in decades. Indiana Jones is one of the most revered blockbuster stories of the 1980s. Spielberg and Lucas' work on the original trilogy stands alongside Jaws and Star Wars as timeless classics that are worth revisiting regularly. "Part of the reason why the Hyperion manufacturer does not fully return ... is because the behavior that was connected with the Hyperion manufacturer was that you would start very inaccurate," Kao explained. "But as you held down the fire button for, like, an assault rifle or SMG or whatnot, it would become extremely accurate, the most accurate gun, but it would have to require you to unload at least the beginning or half of the mag to get there." While the end result was high accuracy, this kind of mechanic just didn't feel good in Borderlands gameplay, Kao says.
I remember just feeling really dumb that I'd never [asked], I'd love to sit down now and just ask her about all the other stuff she'd done in her life. "I wish I had an hour to sit down and interrogate her."
