I was just walking by, and a guy came up and looked like a gun. I couldn't tell what it was, but I heard it afterwards, the shots.

I remember hearing gunfire shots just start going off everywhere. I remember seeing a girl fall that had been injured, I remember seeing the guy who had been shot fall to the ground. I seen blood everywhere. It was just very traumatizing.

The screams woke me up, Sam Cruz, a neighbor, said Monday morning. They were crying for help for 10, 20 minutes before (first responders) arrived.

The situation escalated as the 40-year-old man, having no ticket, decided to jump onto the train's plates, risking everything to retrieve his luggage.
